Ariane is a native New Yorker, born on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. An actor, singer and dancer, her many stage/film credits include principal work on Investigation Discovery, The Travel Channel as well as lead roles in at least 8 Independent films shot in New York and Chicago over the last few years. In New York City she has performed on Broadway and off-Broadway with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players at City Center; with choreographer Doug Varone (Broadway: Lady in the Dark, Murder Ballad; Triumph of Love) at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) and also at The Lucille Lortel Theatre; Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Players’ Theatre, The Producers Club and others. Mostly recently she was seen in a highly regarded production of "Babette's Feast" at the Connolly Theatre in the East Village.
Regional work includes: Becca (u/s) in Rabbit Hole; The Beggar Woman/Lucy in Sweeney Todd; Sheila in A Chorus Line; Edith in Pirates of Penzance and much more.
Solo work has been created for her by such directors as Martha Clarke (Three Penny Opera - Atlantic Theatre Company; Cheri - Signature Theatre, etc.), Shen Wei (2008 Olympic Opening Ceremony, Beijing) and Doug Varone. She has also worked with Marni Nixon, Hal Linden, Elaine Stritch, Eartha Kitt and most recently Grammy® Winner, Laurence Hobgood.
Ariane’s career as an Arts Administrator began in the womb - following in the footsteps of her parents, Charles and the late Stephanie Reinhart - Co-Directors of Dance & Ballet at the Kennedy Center in Washington and The American Dance Festival (“the world’s greatest dance festival” - The New York Times). Ariane has worked as Event Coordinator for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago; as Special Projects Coordinator, Special Events Coordinator, Summer Intensive Coordinator and more at The Paul Taylor Dance Company (and is now a member of their Board of Directors); as Marketing and Special Events Assistant for The Actors’ Fund of America; and as personal assistant to the late Marni Nixon.
Ms. Reinhart earned her BFA degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
